After many years as a corporate professional, Stacey has successfully built two creative businesses firstly founding a personal styling consultancy, Fashion Fairground which she ran from 2015 to 2022. Her most recent business, Stacey Gillies Interiors delivers interior decoration and interior design services for residential family homes on the North Shore, overseeing every aspect of design from inception to realisation.

Since officially launching her business in 2019, Stacey has successfully completed over 10 projects, ranging from new builds to renovations, across locations from Queenstown to Auckland. By working with a select number of clients at a time, she ensures each project receives the personalised attention and expertise it deserves."

Always surrounded in creativity and with a love for art, dance and fashion, Stacey brings an international design sensibility to her interior decoration projects.   Her expressive spaces are infused with a mix of modern and vintage decor paired with beautiful materials, quality finishes and painterly colour palettes.

Alongside her design work, Stacey has contributed to and authored many written pieces in interior design and fashion for publications and top brands such as James Dunlop Textiles, Houzz, NZ Home & Garden, StuffNZ, The Post and interviews on RadioNZ.

Stacey is passionate about art and creates her own works, from watercolors to acrylics, seeing this hands-on creativity as an integral part of her interior design practice.
